On January 23rd, Fox Den Books will be closed in observance of the Day of Truth & Freedom, standing in solidarity with our immigrant neighbors and community members.
This decision comes from our belief that bookstores are more than places to shop. Bookstores are places of care, connection, and shared humanity. When members of our community live with fear or uncertainty, it impacts us all.
By closing our doors for the day, we are choosing to pause, reflect, and affirm that people come before profit. Stories matter because people matter. We believe in a community where everyone belongs, feels safe, and is treated with dignity.
We understand this may be an inconvenience, and we’re grateful for your understanding. We invite you to use the day in whatever way feels meaningful to you: resting, learning, reading, supporting one another, or engaging in community care.
We’ll reopen with our regular hours of 10am – 7pm on Saturday, January 24th
